Zusammenfassung

Byrne Cortland is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic for the night shift (N2) to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on dairy processing equipment, including pasteurizers, homogenizers, and conveyors.

You will diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues, document work in CMMS, and coordinate downtime with production. Prior food manufacturing experience and PLC familiarity are a plus.

Qualifikationen

• GED or high school diploma preferred.
• Minimum 2–3 years of mechanical field experience.
• Experience with VFDs, conveyors, pumps, valves, and PLCs.
• Experience with closed cooling systems and sanitary processing conditions.

Aufgaben

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on dairy processing equipment.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Troubleshoot equipment with PLCs and motor controls to minimize downtime.
• Install and maintain instrumentation and control systems (temp sensors, gauges, flow meters).
• Inspect facility infrastructure (steam, air, refrigeration, water treatment) for issues.
• Maintain CMMS records and coordinate repairs with production.
