Job summary

DICK’S Sporting Goods is hiring a DC Maintenance Technician for the 2B shift (Tuesday–Friday, 5:30p–3:30a). The role focuses on maintaining and repairing facility equipment, conveyors, and PLC-driven systems while adhering to PM standards and safety practices.

The candidate should have an Associate's or a two-year technical certificate, 3–5 years of experience, and skills in hydraulics, pneumatics, PLCs, and reading schematics. The job offers a competitive hourly rate with a shift differential.

Qualifications

Associate's Degree or equivalent required.
2-year vocational technical certificate in mechanical or electrical field preferred.
3–5 years of maintenance experience in a DC or similar facility.
Welding, burning, and cutting skills.
Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, gear boxes and PLC controls.
Familiar with DC-specific software packages (Crown PM, Gage).
Ability to read electrical/mechanical drawings and schematics.
Good safety awareness.
Ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull, and lift up to 75 lbs.
Experience with LOTO safety procedures.

Responsibilities

Adhere to OSHA safety standards including LOTO and safe work practices.
Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair facility equipment and conveyance systems; follow PM standards and document work.
Report spare parts inventory levels and daily usage to Maintenance leadership.
Assist in training junior technicians to elevate performance.
Coordinate with outside vendors to complete projects safely and timely in DCs.
Take on other duties to support DC operations.
