Eaton is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic for the 3rd shift in Wisconsin (South Milwaukee area). The hourly rate is $33.80 per hour, with hours from 10:30 pm to 6:30 am. Overtime may be required.

Benefits include health coverage, paid holidays, weekly pay, and shift premiums. You will troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on equipment. Responsibilities include equipment installation, electrical maintenance, and maintaining safety records.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• Minimum one year hands-on experience in manufacturing, military, maintenance, or related technical field, or completion of an accredited Maintenance Technician certification program.
• Eaton will not sponsor CPT, OPT, or STEM OPT plans, H-1B-related sponsorship, or other visa status.
• No relocation benefit is offered for this position. Only candidates that currently reside within the immediate geographical area (50 miles) of the work location will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.

Responsabilités

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair malfunctioning machinery, equipment, tools, and components.
• Perform preventive maintenance on machinery and equipment to ensure reliable and efficient operation.
• Make necessary adjustments, repairs, and equipment modifications as required.
• Conduct general facility maintenance, including painting, plumbing, carpentry, and related building repairs.
• Support the operation and maintenance of the in-house wastewater treatment system.
• Safely operate industrial vehicles and equipment used for material handling, machine relocation, and rigging activities.
• Assist with the installation, setup, relocation, and commissioning of machinery and equipment.
• Perform basic electrical maintenance and troubleshooting activities.
• Maintain accurate, complete, and up-to-date maintenance records and documentation.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by adhering to all environmental, health, and safety standards.
