Job summary

McWane Ductile New Jersey is seeking a Night Shift Maintenance Supervisor to coordinate maintenance activities and lead a team responsible for safe, reliable operation of production equipment. This role emphasizes discipline, preventive maintenance, and strong problem-solving in a manufacturing setting.

Key duties include supervising mechanics, prioritizing work orders, and ensuring adherence to Lockout/Tagout and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2-3 years of supervisory experience in an industrial maintenance environment.
• Strong knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and industrial maintenance systems.
• Experience with preventive and predictive maintenance practices.
• Strong computer skills and maintenance documentation experience.
• Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and equipment drawings.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate maintenance personnel during the night shift.
• Ensure production machinery is maintained and operational.
• Diagnose equipment malfunctions and assist with troubleshooting.
• Assign and prioritize work orders for mechanics and millwrights.
• Conduct daily safety and toolbox meetings.
• Inspect completed work for quality and accuracy.
• Coordinate repairs and parts procurement.
• Support preventive maintenance programs.
• Develop and mentor maintenance team members.
