Job summary

Vulcan Materials Company is seeking a Night Shift Maintenance supervisor to lead the maintenance team on the night shift, assign tasks, set priorities, and ensure safe, efficient operations. You will troubleshoot issues, develop preventative maintenance plans, supervise staff, maintain records, and report on equipment performance while upholding safety and environmental policies.

This role offers a 20% shift differential in pay for designated night hours.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 5+ years of maintenance experience with supervisory responsibilities.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures; MSHA experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate maintenance team activities.
• Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules.
• Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and direct repair efforts.
• Prepare maintenance reports and track equipment performance.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and procedures.
• Build a strong safety culture and maintain site policies.
• Maintain records of work orders, equipment maintenance, and inventory.
