Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Experience in maintenance, preferably with heavy equipment.
• Basic safety procedures and MSHA/OSHA compliance knowledge.
• Willingness to learn mechanical fundamentals and preventative maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-shift and post-shift inspections and routine preventative maintenance.
• Troubleshoot and replace basic mechanical components (belts, idlers, pulleys, pumps).
• Repair structures and wear-parts using welding, cutting and grinding equipment.
• Follow MSHA/OSHA regulations and maintain a hazard-free work area (LOTO).
• Observe operation areas and maintain accurate service logs and maintenance records.
