Job summary

Markent Personnel is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor - Night Shift in Kinston, North Carolina to lead maintenance teams responsible for the installation, repair, and preventive maintenance of critical plant equipment across the facility, utilities, and powerhouse. The role aims to minimize downtime and maximize production efficiency to keep product flows and lines running at peak performance.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering with at least 2 years of relevant experience,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering required.
• Experience leading training, coaching or mentoring staff.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.
• Bilingual preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead teams of Maintenance Mechanics and Electricians in predictive and preventative maintenance, and repairs.
• Supervise maintenance systems, processes, and documentation for high performance.
• Ensure maintenance is scheduled with Production for equipment and facility repairs.
• Develop and implement maintenance systems (PM, TPM, SOPs, Safety).
• Provide troubleshooting support and analyze equipment failures; monitor performance and reporting.
• Develop and maintain KPIs for maintenance performance (reliability, OEE).
• Provide regular status reports to maintenance management.
• Ensure maintenance tasks comply with USDA regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance work and inventory.
