Job summary

Sika is seeking an experienced Overnight Maintenance Electrician for our Canton, MA facility. You will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical and PLC-controlled machinery in a manufacturing environment, performing preventative maintenance and keeping detailed maintenance logs.

The role requires a MA-licensed journeyman electrician, at least 5 years in industry, and proficiency with electrical schematics, test equipment, and PC-based documentation. The night shift runs 6pm–6am Mon–Thu.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Licensed Journeyman Electrician in Massachusetts.
• 5 years industrial or manufacturing experience.
• Computer skills (Word, Excel, Email).
• Understanding of PLC controlled production lines.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical and PLC‑controlled machinery.
• Diagnose malfunctioning systems using test equipment (Voltmeter, Ohmmeter, Megohmmeter).
• Perform preventive maintenance and keep maintenance logs.
• Work the overnight shift 6pm–6am Mon–Thu in Canton, MA.
• Ensure safe and reliable operation of plant equipment.
