Job summary

WestRock Company in Fort Worth TX is seeking a Maintenance Electrician for a 12-hour shift (6 pm–6 am) at our Container facility. The role includes installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in a manufacturing environment, with overtime potential.

Candidates should have 2–3 years of troubleshooting experience on industrial controls, knowledge of motors, drives, hydraulics and pneumatics, and ability to read electrical and mechanical drawings.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years in troubleshooting industrial electrical control systems down to component level.
• Operational knowledge of automated industrial machinery including motors, servos, pumps, drives, relays, 3-phase power, and communications.
• Understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to install and set up both A/C and D/C drives.
• PLC troubleshooting and problem-solving with electrical aptitude.
• Ability to read electrical and mechanical drawings.

• Provide safe electrical support, preventive maintenance, installation, service, and repair of equipment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues on multiple operating machines in a manufacturing environment.

Job description

We are seeking a Maintenance Electrician in our Fort Worth TX Container facility. This is for a 12-hour shift, 6 pm-6 am, where you will have 3 days on, 2 days off, 2 days on and 3 days off. That means a 3-day weekend every other week and you still have an opportunity for overtime. Salary

• Tech 3 : $35.87/hr
• Tech 4: $39.50/hr
• Tech 5: $43.96/hr

Primary duties

Primary duties include providing safe and timely electrical support, preventative maintenance, installation, service, repair, troubleshooting and resolution of multiple operating machines within a manufacturing industrial environment.

What You Need to Succeed

• 2-3 years in trouble shooting industrial electrical control systems down to component level
• An operational knowledge of automated industrial machinery which includes; motors, servos, pumps, drives, relays, 3 phase-power, communication devices, industrial / electronic controls, and power transmission systems.
• A good understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Able to install and set up both A/C and D/C drives
• PLC troubleshooting and problem-solving ability with practical, mechanical & electrical aptitude.
• Must be able to read and interpret both electrical and mechanical drawings.
• Working knowledge of power transmission equipment and bearings.
• Basic welding skills preferred but not required.
• Familiar with pumps, both air and electric.
• Able to install and troubleshoot basic 3 phase motor control circuits
• Some knowledge of the various types of sensors and limit switches
• Familiar with computers and Microsoft software.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a mature and professional manner.
