Job summary

Incumbents perform routine manual tasks, assist tradespeople, operate basic equipment and help maintain campus facilities and grounds across the university environment.

Qualifications

• Two years full-time custodial or maintenance experience.
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
• Ability to stand, walk long periods and lift heavy objects.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance, cleaning and groundskeeping tasks on campus.
• Assist skilled tradespeople with maintenance and construction work.
• Sweep, shovel snow, prune plants and maintain campus grounds.
• Operate basic equipment and maintain records of activities.
