Job summary

PTR Global in Dover, NH is seeking a Mail Insert Operator (HighSpeed Inserters) for the 3rd shift (10:30 PM to 7:00 AM). Onsite role with a potential contract-to-hire. Pay rate is $27 per hour.

Training provided; strong emphasis on accuracy, safety, and production targets. Prior inserter experience preferred, no degree required. Responsibilities include setup, operation, maintenance, and documentation while collaborating with the production team to meet daily goals.

Qualifications

• Prior experience operating highspeed inserters or similar machinery is preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret job orders, production schedules, and quality specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy while working at a fast pace.

Responsibilities

• Operate highspeed inserters to assemble and insert materials into envelopes or mailers.
• Ensure proper setup and adjustment of equipment to handle different sizes and types of materials.
• Monitor the inserters during operation to ensure smooth operation and prevent jams or malfunctions.
• Perform regular maintenance and cleaning of inserters to maintain optimal performance.
• Collaborate with the production team to meet daily production goals and prioritize job orders.
• Verify the accuracy and quality of inserted materials, addressing any issues or discrepancies.
• Assist in troubleshooting and resolving mechanical or technical problems related to inserters.
• Follow established safety procedures and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
• Maintain accurate production records and reports.
