Job summary

LiDestri Foods is hiring a Machine Operator - Unloader for 12-hour night shifts (6pm-6:30am) at our Rochester, NY plant. You will safely operate packaging machinery, perform set-ups, adjust for quality, and maintain GMP standards while meeting production targets.

The role requires prior machine operation, PPE usage, and basic math/communication skills. Forklift experience and lockout/tagout certification are a plus; we offer health insurance, 401k, paid time off, bonuses, and career growth.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Prior machine operation preferred.
• Ability to wear personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Ability to apply basic math and communication skills.
• Ability to use various hand tools as required for position/product testing.
• Previous forklift experience preferred.
• Lock out/tag out certified.

Responsibilities

• Operate machinery including setup, operation, changes, and troubleshooting.
• Maintain GMP standards around machinery.
• Follow SOPs for equipment.
• Cross-train on equipment as assigned by manager.
• Maintain and issue raw materials into assigned work orders.
• Work safely and follow company safety rules.
• Maintain good attendance per policy.
• Report food safety and quality problems to authorized personnel.
