Job summary

Sheridan New Hampshire, part of the Sheridan Group, is hiring a Machine Operator. Will train you to run high-speed bindery equipment, with a 7:00 PM–7:00 AM schedule Wednesday–Saturday, 36 hours/week. Overtime opportunities and a $2,500 hiring bonus after 12 weeks are offered.

Qualifications

• No press experience? No problem—we’ll train you.
• Have experience operating machinery in any industry (manufacturing, warehouse, trades, etc.)
• Are mechanically inclined and comfortable using basic tools
• Can read basic job instructions and measurements (decimals, sizes, etc.)
• Take pride in doing quality work
• Show up reliably and work well with a team

Responsibilities

• Learn to operate and set up bindery equipment (cutters, folders, stitchers, and perfect binders)
• Keep machines running smoothly by making adjustments and monitoring quality
• Work as part of a team to hit daily production goals
• Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards
• Troubleshoot minor issues and keep production moving
• Follow safety procedures and help maintain a clean, organized workspace
