Job summary

Sealed Air is seeking a Machine Operator for the night shift, 12:00 AM to 8:00 AM, with a $1.00 shift premium and a base pay of $22.55 per hour. You will operate equipment, adjust run conditions, and ensure safe, efficient production according to SOPs.

Required: 3–5 years manufacturing experience, high school diploma or equivalent, strong mechanical aptitude, good communication, basic math and computer skills, and a safety-minded approach. Teamwork is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to understand and follow written instructions.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work with others in a team environment.
• Basic math, reading, and computer skills are required.
• Strong safety awareness and the ability to apply critical thinking to problems.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment to produce finished goods per production specs.
• Safely stop equipment during normal conditions and emergencies.
• Set up machines to SOC using appropriate conditions and adjust run settings.
• Use a computer system to set run conditions and monitor performance.
• Perform line start up and shut down, following SOPs to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Operate lab and quality testing equipment to test film samples.
