Job summary

Sealed Air is seeking a night-shift machine operator to run production lines from 12:00 AM to 8:00 AM. The role includes a $1.00 shift premium on top of a $22.55 hourly pay rate. You will set up machines, monitor quality, and use computer systems to adjust run conditions within SOC.

The position requires 3–5 years in manufacturing, strong mechanical aptitude, good communication, and a safety-focused mindset. High school diploma or equivalent and basic math/computer skills are expected.

Qualifications

  • 3 to 5 years' experience in a manufacturing industry as the main operator of one or multiple processes.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude is desired.
  • Ability to make sound decisions and follow guidelines.
  • Must have good communication skills.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Basic math, reading, and computer skills.
  • High awareness toward safety.
  • Ability to solve problems and apply critical thinking.
  • Able to work effectively and efficiently as part of a team.

Responsibilities

  • Operate equipment to produce finished goods to production specifications.
  • Understand and be able to safely STOP equipment during normal conditions and during an emergency.
  • Set Machine up to SOC using the appropriate conditions.
  • Use a computer system to set run conditions and adjust as necessary within SOC.
  • Perform Line start up and Line shut down.
  • Follow all training documents or SOPs to operate the line safely and efficiently.
  • Use production reporting systems to fulfill job functions.
  • Always safely operate lab equipment.
  • Operate and adjust quality lab equipment to safely test film samples.

Job Description

  • Hand and eye coordination.
  • Use stairs and hand tools as required by job.
