Job summary

Sealed Air Corporation seeks a Night Shift Assembly Machine Operator to support product assembly, equipment operation, and data recording. The role emphasizes safety, quality checks, and efficient production within a climate-controlled plant.

Responsibilities include inspecting parts, labeling, palletizing, and timely communication of concerns. Must have at least one year in manufacturing, strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year of experience in a manufacturing environment and strong mechanical aptitude.
• Strong organizational and time management skills with close attention to detail.
• Self-starter, adaptable to a fast-paced environment, and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to read and interpret standard measuring tapes and product specifications.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Operate assembly machinery and perform fabrication duties.
• Record data each shift and ensure equipment runs properly and safely.
• Visually inspect parts for defects prior to packaging and shipping.
• Package, label, and palletize finished products.
• Perform quality checks and document results.
• Use computer and RF Scanner to create product labels and manage production reports.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and comply with GMP/SQF requirements.
• Assist in training other personnel on equipment operation.
