Mars Petcare in Aurora, Nebraska, is seeking a hands-on Machine Operator - Technician (Making/Packing) to join our night-shift production team. You will operate advanced packaging equipment, perform basic diagnostics, and ensure daily production goals are met.

Candidates should have 2+ years in manufacturing machinery operation or equivalent military/technical experience, good communication, and a safety-first mindset.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma, GED, or equivalent civilian/military education.
• Experience: 2+ years in manufacturing machinery operation or equivalent military/technical experience.
• Skills: Strong communication, interpersonal, and team-building abilities.

Responsibilities

• Operate high-speed making and packing equipment to meet daily production goals.
• Conduct routine diagnostics and preventative maintenance; troubleshoot to root cause.
• Perform quality checks, including metal detection, date code, item number checks, and CCP/oPRP audits.
• Load materials, clear jams, reset faults, and lead smooth product changeovers.
• Record production metrics using basic computer systems and maintain shift records.
• Maintain a safe workplace following GMPs and PPE requirements.
