Job summary

Swagelok is hiring for a machinist/operator role in Northeast Ohio. The associate conducts setup, operation, and adjustments on machining equipment and participates in quality checks to ensure parts meet specifications.

The position supports 24/7 night shifts (6pm-6am), with a $1,500 sign-on bonus payable after 30 days. Benefits and comprehensive Total Rewards begin on day one, including medical, dental, vision, and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• firmly qualified as a Level 2 Machine Operator.
• Minimum 30 months of machining experience externally; internal Level 2 status preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of metal or plastic cutting processes and equipment.
• Ability to learn quickly and troubleshoot non-routine issues.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate machining equipment safely and efficiently.
• Perform start-stop procedures and material loading.
• Make tool and fixture changes and adjustments.
• Maintain records and verify parts per quality standards.
• Identify and report machine malfunctions and discrepancies.
