Job summary

Graham Packaging Company is seeking a Machine Operator I for the night shift based in Mason, Ohio. The role runs on a 6:48pm–7am rotating 2/2/3 schedule, with early benefits such as paid time off and holidays.

You will operate cold glue labelers, palletizers, and related inline equipment, performing adjustments, changeovers, and quality checks to ensure safe, efficient production of containers.

Qualifications

• Regular, predictable attendance and willingness to work overtime.
• Proficiency with computer usage and typing.
• Strong verbal and written communication with customers and colleagues.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Capable of multi-tasking on multiple machines.
• Ability to lift 30-50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Operate a specified number of cold glue labeling machines and related equipment safely and efficiently.
• Perform minor repairs or adjustments to ensure high-quality container production.
• Support line changes, material loading, and setup tasks as needed.
• Maintain equipment and clean work areas to safety and housekeeping standards.
• Document production and quality data accurately and timely.
• Assist in operator training and coordinate with shift supervisor on line objectives.
