Job summary

Graham Packaging Company is seeking a Machine Operator I for the Day Shift in Mason, Ohio. You will operate plastic blow molding machines and related equipment on a rotating 2/2/3 schedule, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency. Benefits start on day one, including holidays and PTO.

You will follow GMP procedures, monitor materials, document activities, and collaborate with supervisors and maintenance to meet production goals. Limited travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Regular, predictable attendance is required.
• Proficiency with computers and typing is essential.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, including with customers.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Ability to work independently and complete tasks.
• Good collaboration with others and proactive teamwork.
• Limited travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Operate a group of plastic blow molding machines and auxiliary equipment safely and efficiently.
• Perform basic processing of injection and/or blow molding machines to improve efficiency and reduce scrap.
• Participate in continuous quality improvement projects and other related activities.
• Maintain clean and safe work area and adhere to safety policies.
• Complete and file required documentation in a timely manner.
• Coordinate with shift supervisor to align line support and production goals.
• Assist in training new Operators and support maintenance as needed.
