Job summary

Ditch Witch, part of The Toro Company, is hiring Machine Operators for Plant 3 on the night shift. You will operate various production machines, including lathes, mills, drills, welders, and plasma cutting, and may assemble components as part of a cross-functional team.

The role requires basic experience with hand and air tools, reading instructions, and basic math. Welding or machining training is a plus. The environment is indoors with typical manufacturing conditions.

Qualifications

• Basic experience with mechanical repair and assembly tools.
• Ability to read and follow written instructions.
• Basic math skills for calculations.
• Experience or training in welding or machining is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Set up, adjust, and operate production equipment while monitoring performance.
• Set up fixtures, mount parts in fixtures/components, and perform mechanical assembly using hand and air tools (wrenches, torque wrenches, impact wrenches, screwdrivers, hammers, etc.).
• Use a computer to check the location, inventory, and routing of parts and maintain production records.
• May read information from blueprints.
