Job summary

G&W Electric Co. is seeking a Machine Operator I for the D shift (6:00pm–6:00am). You will set up and operate machinery, ensure safety, and document production steps.

The role requires reading work instructions, using hand and power tools, and teamwork to support ongoing manufacturing processes. Ideal candidates have a High School diploma/GED and 6+ months in manufacturing. Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required or equivalent experience.
• 6+ months experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Must be able to read and interpret work instructions and communicate with supervisor.
• Must be able to operate a variety of machinery.
• Able to safely use small hand and power tools.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate one to two pieces of manufacturing machinery.
• Dispose of hazardous chemicals properly.
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment by following procedures and rules.
• Conserve resources by using equipment and supplies efficiently.
• Train others in machine operator tasks as needed.
• Inspect all work for defects before passing to next operation.
• Document actions by completing production and quality forms.
