Job summary

Pratt is seeking a reliable Machine Operator to join the 3rd shift in a high-speed corrugated packaging plant. You will set up and operate die cutters and presses, monitor quality, and ensure production meets specifications in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires teamwork, basic math and measurement reading, and a willingness to work overtime. You will assist with training, follow safety rules, and help improve processes in a non-climate-controlled plant setting.

Qualifications

• Dependability and punctuality are essential.
• Corrugated packaging or similar manufacturing experience preferred.
• At least 6 months as Assistant Machine Operator preferred.
• Ability to read measurements and follow written/verbal English instructions.
• Willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed.
• Ability to work well in a team and follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Set-up print and die cut sections of die cutters according to proper techniques.
• Operate assigned equipment and monitor performance to meet specs.
• Train and assist Assistant Machine Operator and Machine Helper.
• Cross-train on additional machines and support other areas as needed.
• Complete production, quality, and safety reports accurately and on time.
• Submit maintenance requests and proactively maintain equipment.
