Job summary

Great Connections Employment Services client in Scarborough, ON is hiring Night Shift Machine Operators for a cardboard products manufacturer. Location at Finch Ave E & Markham Rd, TTC accessible.

Work hours are 10pm to 6am with a full-time role and pay rate of $24-$27 per hour depending on experience. Responsibilities include setting up and running production equipment, performing quality checks, completing reports, lifting up to 35 lbs, and maintaining safety standards.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of prior machine operating experience mandatory.
• Must be mechanically inclined and able to read instructions.
• Must be able to lift at least 35 lbs and wear 6 inch CSA boots.
• Able to read a tape measure (metric and imperial).
• Strong health, safety awareness and accuracy are required.

Responsibilities

• Obtain order and verify stock specifications and condition.
• Set up, operate, clean up and suggest improvements to operations.
• Complete administrative duties and reports accurately and timely.
• Perform tasks requiring lifting, standing, and packing materials.
• Submit maintenance orders for repairs and maintain equipment.
• Follow health, safety, and housekeeping policies and regulations.
• Assist other operators with job duties on machine.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisor.
