Job summary

Altium Packaging is seeking an experienced Machine Operator in Sherman, TX to run blow mold, grinder and trimmer machines and support the production line. You will troubleshoot process issues and perform basic maintenance to keep the line productive.

You will work nights on a 12-hour shift, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with a base pay of $23.00/hr plus a $1.35 shift premium. The role requires teamwork, strong mechanical aptitude, and safety compliance in a fast-paced plant environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years experience as a machine operator preferred.
• Experience with blow mold machines highly desirable.
• Working knowledge of measurement tools (caliper, micrometer).
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and manuals.

Responsibilities

• Set up machines (calibration, cleaning) to start a production cycle.
• Control and adjust machine settings (speed, cycle time).
• Operate blow-mold machines and related equipment.
• Perform audits, weights and quality checks on produced units.
• Enter data into SPC database for quality control measures.
• Troubleshoot, perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs.
• Maintain records of production and defects.
