Job summary

Altium Packaging in Sherman, TX is seeking an experienced Machine Operator to run blow mold, grinder and trimmer machines and manage the production line. You will troubleshoot issues, perform routine maintenance, and work closely with teammates to keep operations efficient.

Requirements include a high school diploma and 2+ years as a machine operator, knowledge of high-speed machinery, ability to read blueprints, and willingness to work a 12‑hour day shift with overtime.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years' experience as a machine operator.
• 2+ years' blow mold machine operation preferred.
• Working knowledge of high-speed machinery and measurement tools.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics and manuals.
• Ability to work overtime and stand long.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Set up machines and calibrate to start a production cycle.
• Control and adjust machine settings to optimize speed and quality.
• Operate blow-mold machines and related equipment.
• Perform quality checks and audit output.
• Keep records of production and defects.
• Enter data into SPC database for quality control.
• Troubleshoot, perform preventative maintenance, and minor repairs.
• Repair or replace pneumatic and hydraulic lines.
• Maintain activity logs.
