Job summary

Skybox Packaging, LLC. is seeking individuals for a night shift operator role in Mansfield, OH. You will operate printing and packaging equipment, perform dye and plate mounting, and conduct quality checks to ensure high standards throughout the production run.

Qualifications

• Standing for long periods of time.
• Ability to read a tape measure.
• Bending, lifting, twisting on a continuous basis.
• Ability to lift 70 lbs.
• Ability to clearly communicate with material handlers, other employees and managers as needed.
• Attention to detail and high level of numerical accuracy.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Experience assisting on multi color flexographic press is preferred.
• Able to troubleshoot and problem solve.
• Ability to clearly differentiate colors.

Responsibilities

• Operate machines to produce finished goods.
• Maintain efficiency and quality in production.
• Perform duties with production equipment to ensure steady workflow.
• Make equipment adjustments and set up dies, plates and tooling.
• Conduct quality checks before and during production.
• Maintain checklists for quality, ink monitoring, and cleanup.
• Keep setup and run times efficient and report issues to supervision.
• Troubleshoot quality or machine issues as they occur.
• Ensure equipment is maintained and notify maintenance of issues.
• Daily and weekly cleanup per checklist.
