Job summary

The Shoal in Texas City is seeking a qualified RN/LVN for full-time night shift (6:00 pm–6:00 am) to deliver high-quality nursing care in a post-acute setting. You will work under the Unit Manager, documenting care in the EMR and participating in care planning with the health care team.

Responsibilities include medication administration, IV therapy within RN scope, patient education, and collaboration with physicians and support staff. Weekend/holiday shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Graduate of an accredited RN program.
• Valid state RN/LVN license and CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care per individualized plan of care.
• Lead development of individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and IV therapy as RN scope permits.
• Document observations and interventions in EMR.
• Coordinate communication among patient, family, and care team.
• Attend and participate in in-service trainings.
