Job summary

Pattison Company LLC in Clayton, IA seeks a Lubrication Technician on Night Shift to service rolling stock, perform daily inspections, and prevent downtime. Work involves fueling, lubrication, and maintaining related systems at the Clayton location.

The role requires lifting 60–80 pounds, standing for long periods, and 12-hour shifts with potential weekend work. Night shift differential applies; comprehensive benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• MSHA Part 48 certification required (Training available on-site).
• Valid Driver's License required.

Responsibilities

• Fuel, grease, and service all rolling stock equipment.
• Operate and maintain the lube truck, onboard fueling systems, and greasing system.
• Service and repair rolling stock auto-lube systems.
• Clean and maintain the fuel island, oil room, and spill kit inventory.
• Work closely with the mechanics department to report issues such as oil leaks, bad hoses, non-functioning lights, and missing or defective fill caps.
• Accurately complete fueling and pass-down reports.
• Travel throughout the site, including underground, to service and repair rolling stock.
• Maintain DOT logs if traveling off the mine site.
• Comply with all DOT, State, Federal, MSHA, and company regulations.
