Job summary

Heidelberg Materials North America is seeking a maintenance technician to operate on the 2nd shift (4pm–2am, Monday–Friday). You will fuel, lubricate, inspect, and perform routine maintenance on heavy equipment and plant machinery, keeping detailed records and helping with minor repairs.

Safety and accuracy are essential as you work in outdoor, physically demanding environments. We offer competitive pay on the 2nd shift with a $1/hour differential, a $2,000 sign-on bonus, and a full benefits

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with lubrication systems.
• Ability to read and follow maintenance schedules and technical instructions.
• Commitment to safety and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and teamwork.
• Willingness to work in outdoor and physically demanding environments.

Responsibilities

• Position is on 2nd shift from 4pm-2am M-F.
• Perform fueling, lubrication and routine maintenance on heavy equipment and plant machinery.
• Inspect equipment for wear, leaks, and potential failures.
• Maintain accurate service records and follow preventive maintenance schedules.
• Assist with minor mechanical repairs and part replacements.
• Ensure all work is performed safely and in compliance with company standards.
