Job summary

Staker Parson Companies is hiring a Lube Technician in Utah. Duties include inspecting diesel vehicles, lubricating moving parts, maintaining fluid levels, and performing oil and filter changes. Training period may begin on the day shift before moving to night shift (4:00pm–2:00am).

The role requires basic mechanical skills, ability to use hand tools, and familiarity with maintenance software. Two years of field experience preferred; high school diploma or GED is desirable.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Two years of technical field experience servicing heavy equipment and trucks.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine vehicle maintenance (oil & filter changes, lubrication, coolant, fuel).
• Analyze malfunctions and report required repairs to lead or foreman.
• Operate and inspect vehicle equipment to diagnose defects.
• Dismantle and reassemble equipment with basic hand tools.
• Inspect parts for damage or wear; check fluid levels and belts/hoses.
• Use maintenance software to create work orders, schedule PMs, and document repairs.
• Maintain clean work areas and assist other staff as needed.
• May work in shop, yard, or on job sites; perform DOT inspections and brake adjustments.
