Job summary

The Bristal at Bethpage is seeking an LPN Supervisor to mentor a team of nurses, HHA's and medication technicians in our Wellness/Resident Services Center. You will supervise care, assist with ADLs, and administer medications with kindness.

You’ll act as shift supervisor in the Director’s absence, support admissions/discharges, orient residents, and coordinate needed services. Active LPN license and prior supervisory/medication oversight experience are required.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license required.
• Prior supervisory and medication oversight experience preferred.
• Experience with residents with Alzheimer's/dementia is a plus.
• Knowledge of med administration records (MARs) and doctors' orders.

Responsibilities

• Oversee, mentor and supervise a team of nurses, HHA's, resident care aides and medication technicians.
• Contribute to the development of the resident's Plan of Care and participate in care supervision.
• Lead the shift and provide care support, ADL assistance, and medication administration.
