Job summary

Hope For Tomorrow is seeking an LPN to work night shifts in a licensed practical nurse role. The schedule runs 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, 3 days a week with every other weekend, in a progressive outpatient setting in West Virginia.

The dispensation nurse will dispense medications, maintain equipment, manage inventory, and report patient treatment data as part of a treatment team with Physicians and Supervisors. The ideal candidate holds an LPN/LVN license in West Virginia, CPR certification, and is

Qualifications

• Current & good standing LPN/LVN license in West Virginia.
• Current CPR certification required.
• EMR & computer proficiency desired.
• Experience in chemical dependency preferred, positive attitude toward individuals in substance abuse treatment.

Responsibilities

• Administer daily medication to patients in accordance with policies and protocols.
• Use automated dispensing systems, calibrate pump and maintain dispensing equipment.
• Produce and maintain records and reports per company protocol and regulations.
• Ensure compliance with security standards for distribution and storage of controlled substances.
