Job summary
My Hope for Tomorrow is seeking a detail-oriented LPN to join our night-shift team in West Virginia. You will dispense prescribed medications and assist with a treatment plan alongside Physicians and Nursing Supervisors within an outpatient setting.
The role emphasizes compassionate care for individuals in substance abuse treatment, with responsibilities including inventory, reports, and adherence to regulatory standards. Night shifts 7:00 PM–7:00 AM, three days a week plus alternating weekends.
Qualifications
- Licensed practical nurse (LPN/LVN) in West Virginia and in good standing.
- Current CPR certification required and maintained.
- Experience with electronic medical records and dispensing systems preferred.
Responsibilities
- Administer daily medications to patients per policy and protocols.
- Operate automated dispensing systems and calibrate equipment.
- Maintain records and reports per company protocol and regulations.
- Ensure security of controlled substances per CFR requirements.
- Order, receive and stock medications per DEA/state regs.
- Provide daily patient assessments.
- Assist Nursing Supervisor with orientation of new staff.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by supervisor.
