Job summary

Qualifications

• Gerontological/geriatric nursing theory and practice.

• Observation and reporting of residents' progress.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments on assigned unit per physician orders.
• Observe and report effectiveness of medications and treatments.
• Maintain supplies and medications.
• Receive and deliver information on residents' medical, social, and functional needs.
• Participate in shift reports and QA/QI programs.
• Document diagnoses, observations, treatments, and progress.
