Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program and become an LPN.
• Associate degree in practical nursing preferred.
• If IV therapy is required, relevant IV therapy training or certification may be needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care for residents under supervision.
• Demonstrate nursing principles and apply age-appropriate standards.
• Administer medications or treatments as ordered and monitor effectiveness.
• Document resident interactions, care outcomes, medications, behavior, and diet.
• Work with an interdisciplinary care team to support resident well-being.
