Job summary

Good Samaritan Albion is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide professional nursing care to residents in our long-term care facility during night shifts. You will work under supervision of a RN or physician, perform assessments, administer medications and contribute to care plans.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
• Associate degree in practical nursing preferred.
• Pre-licensure nursing program with supervised clinical experience across the life span required.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care for residents in long-term care.
• Perform nursing assessments and monitor residents’ status.
• Administer prescribed medications or treatments as ordered.
• Document resident interactions and outcomes.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team.
• Support education and counseling for residents and families.
