Job summary

Fisher-Titus is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to provide skilled nursing care on the Norwalk Memorial Home Senior Services unit during night shifts. You will work under the direction of physicians and RNs, performing assessments, medication administration, and patient care coordination.

The role offers a $2,000 sign-on bonus, a full-time night schedule (6:30pm-7:00am) with every other weekend and holiday, and a comprehensive benefits package including medical/dental, 401K match, and tuition

Qualifications

• CPR certification required.
• Licensed Practical Nurse with IV therapy certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care under physician or RN supervision.
• Maintain accurate documentation of nursing care.
• Administer medications and monitor for side effects.
• Assess PONV and provide rescue treatments when needed.
• Perform comprehensive pain assessments and apply analgesic strategies.
• Care for pediatric and geriatric patients and their families.
• Ensure safe handoff and transfer of care to next phase.
• Serve as a role model and participate in ongoing training.
