Job summary

Good Samaritan Albion seeks an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide nursing care for residents in a long-term care setting. Under supervision, you will administer medications, monitor patient status, and support care plans within an interdisciplinary team.

Night shifts and weekend differentials are available, with a strong benefits package. Required is a graduate of an accredited LPN program with an active LPN license; an associate degree is preferred.

Qualifications

Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as an LPN.
Current, unencumbered LPN license in state of practice.
Associate degree in practical nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide professional nursing care for residents under supervision.
Perform testing and assess resident status as per care plan.
Administer medications or treatments as ordered.
Document resident interactions and outcomes for care, medications, behavior, and diet.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to support resident health and safety.
