Job summary

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides professional nursing care for residents in long-term care at Good Samaritan ND Park River. Under supervision, you’ll administer medications, perform assessments, and support the care team to meet resident needs while maintaining confidentiality.

Night shifts are 11:00p-7:00a with 12-hour shifts and weekend/holiday rotation. Generous benefits, sign-on options, and ongoing education support are offered.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program and hold an LPN license.
• Associate degree in practical nursing preferred; IV therapy may be required in ND.
• Current unencumbered LPN license and ongoing CEU requirements as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care for residents under supervision.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered and documented.
• Assess residents and collaborate with health care teams for care plans.
• Maintain confidentiality and effective communication with residents and families.
