Job summary

Good Samaritan in Park River, ND is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse for a 12-hour night shift in a long-term care setting. You will provide compassionate nursing care under supervision, administer medications, and support residents and families as part of an interdisciplinary team.

The role requires an LPN license, ND licensure, and ability to work weekends/holidays with rotating night shifts. A robust benefits package and ongoing education opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program with LPN licensure.
• Current unencumbered LPN license in ND or multi-state licensure.
• ND Board requirements for IV therapy if applicable.
• Minimum clinical experience across lifespan or 400 hours as LPN specified by facility.
• Annual CEU and competency training as required.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care under supervision of RN/physician.
• Assess residents and administer medications per care plans.
• Document resident interactions and outcomes.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families and health care team.
