Job summary

Sanford Health is seeking an LPN to provide professional nursing care for residents in a long-term care setting in Canton. The role supports an interdisciplinary team under supervision of a RN or physician, with a focus on resident safety and comfort.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program and hold an LPN license.
• Associate degree in practical nursing is preferred.
• North Dakota IV therapy requirements may apply where relevant.
• A pre-licensure program with clinical experience or at least 400 hours as LPN is required.
• Current unencumbered LPN license and/or multi-state licensure privileges.
• Maintain required competencies, certifications, and annual CEU/training.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for residents in long-term care under supervision.
• Assess residents and administer medications or treatments as ordered.
• Communicate with the care team and maintain confidentiality.
• Support residents and families, develop self-care plans where appropriate.
• Demonstrate emergency responsiveness and problem-solving within scope.

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) diploma
