Job summary

Cedargate Health Care Center is seeking a qualified LPN or RN for a PRN night shift. The role focuses on compassionate patient care, adherence to care plans, and reliable responsiveness to changes in residents’ condition.

The position requires strong clinical skills, teamwork, and the ability to supervise CNAs and CMTs as needed. Responsibilities include admissions, medication administration, wound care, discharge planning, and emergency response, with a supportive benefits package for staff

Qualifications

• Must hold LPN or RN licensure/certification.
• Experience in nursing care is preferred.
• PRN Night Shift availability is required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments, follow protocol, report medical or behavioral changes, and document findings.
• Perform admission duties: complete assessment, MAR, TAR, POS, review chart set-up, physician orders, and order medications.
• Manage discharges: complete documentation, notify physician and guardian, and arrange transportation.
• Provide wound care: follow protocols, irrigate, pack, and remove dressings.
• Lead CNAs and CMTs, ensuring compliance with facility protocols and policies.
• Respond effectively to emergency situations.
