Thrivemore in Winston-Salem, NC is seeking a qualified Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team PRN. You will provide nursing care to residents under supervision, administer medications as ordered, and support the care team to maintain a safe and compassionate environment.

Requirements include an active NC Board of Nursing license and CPR certification, with at least a high school diploma and a completed practical nursing program.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Graduate of accredited Practical Nursing Program, required.
• Actively registered with the North Carolina Board of Nursing, and in good standing, required.
• Current CPR certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire).

Aufgaben

• Provide nursing care to residents per physician orders and established procedures, including medications and treatments and documenting care accurately.
• Assess and report residents’ physical and mental conditions to nursing staff, contributing to individualized care plans.
• Assist residents with ADLs: bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, feeding, mobility support.
• Measure, record, and monitor vital signs with timely documentation in electronic records.
• Coach and support nursing assistants and ancillary staff to ensure policy compliance.
• Maintain a safe, clean environment and follow infection control protocols.
• Respond to emergencies and initiate life-saving measures when necessary.
• Provide emotional support and guidance to residents, families, and staff while upholding resident rights.
