Job summary

Thrivemore in Winston-Salem, NC is seeking a qualified Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our care team at ThriveMore of NC-Brookridge. You will provide basic nursing care under supervision, administer medications, and support residents with daily living activities.

This 12-hour shift position offers weekend availability and overtime. You will work to maintain a safe, compassionate, and compliant environment in accordance with physician orders and facility policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Graduate of accredited Practical Nursing Program.
• Active NC Board of Nursing license in good standing.
• Current CPR certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care per physician orders and document accurately.
• Assess and report residents' physical and mental conditions for care planning.
• Assist with ADLs such as bathing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
• Monitor vital signs and document in electronic health records.
• Coach and support nursing assistants and ensure policy compliance.
• Maintain a safe, clean environment and follow infection control protocols.
• Respond to emergencies and initiate life-saving measures when needed.
• Uphold resident rights and confidentiality.
