Scarlet Oaks in Cincinnati, OH is hiring for a Night Shift LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) to provide high-quality nursing care during the night shift within a compassionate, resident-focused team. The role includes medication administration, assessments, wound care, and charting, with supervision of Nursing Assistants and collaboration with the interdisciplinary team to ensure safe, calm nighttime care.

Qualifications

Active LPN license in Ohio.
Current CPR certification or willingness to obtain.
Experience with long-term care and night shift preferred.
Strong communication and clinical judgment.
Ability to supervise Nursing Assistants on night shift.

Responsibilities

Provide direct nursing care to residents in accordance with the plan of care, including medication administration, assessments, wound care, and documentation.
Supervise and support the day-to-day work of Nursing Assistants on the night shift as a Night Shift LPN.
Monitor resident conditions, promptly identify changes, and notify the physician and appropriate team members.
Ensure accurate, timely charting and documentation for all residents under the care of the Night Shift LPN.
Promote a safe, calm, and therapeutic nighttime environment for residents and staff.
Communicate effectively with residents, families, and coworkers to support quality outcomes and resident satisfaction.
