Scarlet Oaks is seeking a Night Shift LPN to join our resident-focused nursing team in Cincinnati, OH. The role focuses on delivering high-quality care during night hours, supporting the night nursing team, and ensuring patient comfort and safety.

The ideal candidate holds an active LPN license, CPR certification, and possesses strong communication, clinical judgment, and organizational skills to manage care from admission through discharge in a long-term care setting.

Qualifications

• Nursing degree from an accredited program.
• Active LPN license in Ohio.
• Current CPR certification or willingness to obtain.
• Knowledge of nursing and medical practices, long-term care regulations.
• Strong written and verbal communication, critical thinking and clinical judgment.
• Ability to work with residents, families, interdisciplinary staff, and external agencies.
• Strong organization and prioritization in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents per the plan of care, including medication administration, assessments, wound care, and documentation.
• Supervise and support the night shift nursing assistants.
• Monitor resident conditions, identify changes, and notify physician and team members.
• Ensure accurate, timely charting and documentation for all residents under care.
• Promote a safe, calm, and therapeutic nighttime environment.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and coworkers to support quality outcomes.
