Job summary

Mental Health Resource Center, Inc. in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to support RN and clinicians in assessing patient needs and coordinating medical and psychiatric care.

The LPN will administer medications, assist PA/ARNP/psychiatrist, and help maintain accurate, confidential clinical records while ensuring patient safety. Shift: Every Saturday and Sunday, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, Children and Adolescent Unit, MHRC North.

Qualifications

• Must have valid Florida LPN license and six months of nursing experience as LPN or two years of patient care experience as CNA.

Responsibilities

• Assist RN in assessing patients and planning appropriate care.
• Administer medications and assist physicians and ARNP/PA in coordinating medical and psychiatric care.
• Maintain accurate, confidential clinical records and communicate effectively with families and staff.
