Job summary

Mental Health Resource Center is a not-for-profit Florida corporation delivering mental health services across the community. The LPN works under RN supervision to assess patients, administer medications, and support PA/ARNP/psychiatrist in coordinating care.

The role requires Florida LPN licensure with nursing or CNA experience, strong communication, and meticulous documentation of care and records. Weekend night schedule on the Children and Adolescent Unit is included.

Qualifications

• Valid Florida LPN license and six months nursing experience or two years of CNA/patient care experience.
• Ability to make sound independent decisions and respond to emergencies.
• Strong communication with patients, families, caregivers, and staff.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Assist RN in assessing patient needs and planning care.
• Administer medications under supervision of RN and PA/ARNP/Physician.
• Coordinate medical and psychiatric care with PA, ARNP, and Psychiatrist.
• Ensure confidential, timely documentation and charting.
