Job summary

Easterseals PORT Health in Jacksonville, NC is seeking a compassionate full-time Licensed Practical Nurse for the Facility Based Crisis Center night shift.

You will screen patients, manage medications, support the treatment team, and maintain accurate medical records while helping individuals with mental health and substance use challenges during their short-term stay. Night shifts are 7 pm–7 am with 12-hour shifts and alternating weekends.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted North Carolina LPN license.
• Valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
• Experience in mental health is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Screen patients and assist with medication/prescription management.
• Assist the treatment team, after-care, and referral services.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation and client medication logs.
• Contribute to a therapeutic and healthy clinical environment during short-term stays.
